European Accessibility Act · WCAG 2.1 AA · live since 28 Jun 2025

Prove your site is accessible — before a lawsuit does it for you.

A11yWard crawls your whole site, finds the WCAG failures that get companies sued, and watches every deploy so you stay compliant. Real code-level evidence — not an overlay widget that courts and the FTC have already rejected.

THE PROBLEM

The deadline passed. The lawsuits started.

It's the law now

The European Accessibility Act has been enforceable EU-wide since 28 June 2025 (EN 301 549 / WCAG 2.1 AA). France filed its first lawsuits against major retailers in November 2025; the Netherlands began auditing non-reporters in 2026.

Overlays don't protect you

The FTC fined accessiBe $1M for claiming its widget makes sites compliant. In H1 2025, 22.6% of US accessibility lawsuits hit sites that already had an overlay installed. Courts reject them.

You can't see your own gaps

A site has thousands of elements across hundreds of pages, and every deploy adds new violations. No one can track which button, form, or image is failing by hand.

HOW IT WORKS

Scan. Fix. Prove. Repeat.

1

Crawl your whole site

Enter a URL. A real browser walks every page — home, product, cart, forms — exactly as a screen-reader user would hit them.

2

Detect real WCAG failures

Each page is checked against the WCAG 2.1 AA ruleset. You get a precise list: which page, which element, which rule, and how to fix it.

3

Monitor & prove

Re-scan on every deploy, alert when something regresses, and export a timestamped WCAG / VPAT report for auditors and lawyers.

WHAT YOU GET

A diagnosis, not a band-aid.

Full-site crawl

Hundreds of pages audited automatically — not one URL at a time like free checkers.

Continuous monitoring

Accessibility regresses on every deploy. We re-scan and alert the moment it breaks.

Evidence & VPAT

Timestamped, exportable compliance reports — the proof an EAA accessibility statement needs.

Never an overlay

We never inject code into your site. We inspect from the outside and tell you the truth.

WHO NEEDS THIS MOST

E-commerce & retail

High-traffic stores in the EU & US — the #1 lawsuit target.

Public-sector suppliers

Selling to government means accessibility is contractually required.

Banks, insurance, travel

Consumer-facing services explicitly in EAA scope.

Agencies & platforms

Manage 10–100 client sites from one compliance dashboard.

WHAT'S AT STAKE

One lawsuit costs more than years of monitoring.

Put a number on the risk you're carrying right now — then see your real violations.

50,000 / month

ADA web lawsuits run ~4,000+/year in the US; the EAA is enforceable EU-wide since 28 Jun 2025. Most demand letters settle for $5k–$50k.

Estimated annual exposure
$7,700

if one accessibility action lands (EU — EAA).
